Earthquake protection

The house is built on a weight carrying I-beam frame structure from its ground floor.

The I-beam frame structure is not secured to the ground.

The frame structure stands on I-beam pillars located in the basement.

The I-beam pillars are safely secured to the ground by lowering them deep enough into the ground.

The I-beam frame structure (with the house) and the I beam pillars are not fixed to each other, can freely move independently.

The earthquake protection provided by a special tip (white circle) between the I-beam pillars and the I-beam frame structure. (described later)

Earthquake protection is not just so the house won't collapse as the effect of the earthquake. The structure on which the house is built on is capable of achieving this. However there are more aspects of earthquake and even other natural disaster protection:

The special tip on the I beam pillars
The special tips allow the house to move freely when an earthquake happens. This free movement not just eases the force of the earthquake on the house but even neutralises it. When earthquake happens the persons living in the house feel reduced or even not at all the movement of the ground.

Flexible connectors
The different connectors which connect the pipes and wires to the house in the basement are flexible, so in the case of earthquake, these are not ruptured.

Water supply
When a strong earthquake strikes, usually the outside water service stops even for extended period. The water storage of the house is capable of supplying water demand for the residents for several days even without risking contamination.

Zero energy demand from the grid
When a strong earthquake strikes, usually the power supply of the grid (electrical and natural gas) stops even for extended period. The house is completely self-supporting of energy so can function without need of outside energy source.

Fire protection
At the time of an earthquake, fire is a usual hazard. The house has own water reserve for extinguishing fire even if no water service
